Woman sentenced to probation for felony child abuse

A Mountain Home woman charged with allowing a child to sustain serious burns from scalding hot bath water 15 months ago was sentenced to seven years' probation during a hearing in District Court on Friday.

Jamie Taylor was convicted on a felony count of injury to a child as a result of injuries the two-year-old sustained at a local residence Oct. 14, 2014.
