About 75 people came together for a prayer breakfast on Saturday to celebrate the 30th anniversary of a holiday dedicated in honor of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The hall at the Mountain Home Elks Lodge was packed with local civic, religious and military leaders as well as many residents wishing to honor the civil rights leader, who was assassinated in 1968.
