2015: A look back at news affecting Elmore County

SEPTEMBER -- The 55th annual Air Force Appreciation Day in Mountain Home honored the men and women stationed at Mountain Home Air Force Base while recognizing all uniformed members of the U.S. armed forces. Mayor Tom Rist was named this year's parade grand marshal, continuing a tradition that began in 1970.

Last week, the Mountain Home News looked at the top 10 stories of the year with a month-by-month breakdown of major stories from the first half of the year.

This week, the newspaper takes a look at the stories from the second half of 2015, which included a number of changes affecting Mountain Home and surrounding communities.
