Commissioners approve housing development permit

The proposed Blue Sage Subdivision land is located on Frontage Road near Interstate 84 outside of Mountain Home. The development was approved by the county commissioners on Friday, although developer Jim Carrie disagreed with the conditions attached to that permit.

Following a process spanning several weeks, the county commissioners approved a plan to build a large-scale subdivision just outside of Mountain Home.

In a meeting on Friday, the commissioners voted in favor of a conditional use permit submitted by Jim Carrie, who plans to to subdivide a 65-acre parcel of land.
