Margaret E. "Meg" Boehler, born Margaret Haymen on Dec. 20, 1941, has continued on her journey. At 10:30 p.m. on the 19th of December, 2015, she drew her last breath at her own home with her family and friends. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Meg was 73 years young and spent almost all her time in Mountain Home. Meg was born in a little place on the Ohio River. She was the middle child of eight -- two boys and six girls.

She attended Easter High "Class of '59" where, after earning her Letter in music and partial scholarship, she moved to Columbus with her older sister and family. While working part time for the phone company and continuing her education, Meg met her first husband, David Sherman, a young enlisted man. They married and had a girl, Sheryl, and a son, Neil, and in the fall of 1963, they moved to Mountain Home.

In 1971, Meg went on her worldly travels and moved to Jacksonville Ark., for two years and then they went to the Island of Guam. After two years, they came back to Mountain Home.

After some hard knocks, Meg married a second time to Joe Howard until he continued his journey.

Soon after, Meg bought her own home and married again to Victor Boehler, who passed in November 2013.

Meg was loved by many. Her career was with realtors and as a title officer with FHA and Guaranty Title, also with First American Title. The thing she most loved was getting folks into their own homes with housing and helping them maintain their homes.

But Meg also known for helping anyone she could, even if it meant joining a shuffleboard team called the Fudruckers for a local bar.

Meg will be missed by many. We love you, Meg. Rest in Peace.

Meg leaves behind her loved ones: her son, Neil; her daughter, Sheryl; her two grandkids, April and Steven; five great-grandkids and four step grandkids, Michell, Gary, John and Vicki; and 16 step great-grandkids and three great-great-grandkids. Meg had a good life.
