Scavenger hunt winner

Nicole Bolthouse is joined by her children as she receives a gift certificate from Courtney Lewis with the city's economic development office Nov. 28 after she won a shop local contest hosted by the city department. Participants in the recent "Think Mountain Home First, Shop Local" promotion searched local businesses looking for the city's Local Joe character specifically dressed up in a Santa suit. Those who found all of these characters qualified for a drawing featuring a $100 gift certificate for a local business of their choosing. Bolthouse chose a gift certificate for Just Restyled with business owner Cheryl Forsman adding another $50 to the certificate.
