Hundreds gather for Parade of Lights event

The rain finally eased up and the skies cleared just in time as hundreds of people braved the evening chill and lined the streets of Mountain Home to help usher in the holiday season during the city's annual Christmas Parade of Lights.

The procession of lighted floats and costumed individuals and animals marked the first "official" appearance of Santa Claus here.
