A teacher at Stephensen Elementary School was honored for her dedication to education and her passion for teaching her students during a recognition ceremony last week.

Representatives from the Mountain Home Air Force Base School Advisory Committee awarded Norris its first-ever outstanding educator award at the Mountain Home School District board meeting Oct. 20.

  • About time! I am so happy that her hard work and dedication to her students is finally recognized. Mrs. Norris is an example of what a lot of teachers are missing: genuine care to teach. Congratulations!!!
