Several teams continued their winning ways while a few others struggled on the field as Mountain Home Optimist Football's fall season finished its seven week on Oct. 17.

Inventive Products of Mountain Home trailed the Badgers in a 12-18 loss as the 12 year olds competed in the senior division.

Eleven year olds in the junior division saw mixed results as Thrifty Auto Sales of Mountain Home lost to Patriot Center Nampa, 6-20. However, Mountain Home's United Metals improved to 2-4 on the season after the team posted a decisive 40-0 win over Wood River.

Ten year old players in the sophomore division saw a needed win as Sunview Dairies snuck past Lone Star Nampa in a 26-22 nailbiter. Meanwhile, the Fighting Irish of Mountain Home tied with Blue Sky, 14-14.

In freshman league action on Saturday, Tripl T Services of Mountain Home fell to Vallivue White in a 0-19 shutout. In Rookie league play, IWS Motor Coaches of Mountain Home lost to Kuna's Alpha Home, 0-38.

Flag football action on Oct. 17 saw Taco John's of Mountain Home go up against Ridley's Kuna while Tech Assault Firearms faced Mar Gold of Marsing.

Officials don't track scores from these youth flag football games.
