  • GO LADY TIGERS!! The new coaching staff has done a fantastic job with this team. They won their 7th match of the season last night beating Caldwell 2-0.

Their overall record for the year is 7-5-2, with two ties that should have been wins versus Middleton and a very close games against Skyview who only won on a last second goal.

The Lady Tigers lead the league (SIC 4A)in goals scored this year with 43. The only game that was decided early was against defending 5A State Champions Centennial who won 6-0.

The team is currently ranked #8 out of 21 schools in the State in 4A.

The sky is the limit with this amazing team, and with a little luck, this team can go far in district play.

Congratulations Lady Tigers on a amazing season and continue success at Districts...play hard and dream big!

  • Also, I want to mention our JV Lady Tigers who won their 5th match yesterday, destroying Caldwell 8-1.

The JV Lady Tigers are 5-6-2 with ties against Skyview and Middleton. They lost to a undefeated Kuna JV team 3-1 in a hard fought battle.

This team can finish the season with a sixth win on Tuesday versus Skyview. The highlight of the season with this team was playing a hard fought battle versus powerhouse 5A Centennial. They were tied 1-1 at halftime, when Centennial scored two goals late in the 2nd half to win 3-1. Centennial has gone on to a 11-2 record and is currently 2nd in 5A JV.

The JV Lady Tigers have scored 38 goals in 13 matches, third in scoring in SIC 4A behind only Bishop Kelly and Kuna who are tied for 1st place.

Congratulations JV players and coaches for a very successful season.

Not all is doom and gloom with our Mountain Home HS athletic teams. We have teams out there that are making history in SIC 4A.

The rest of our wonderful fall teams that are struggling this year...keep your heads up, continue to fight hard and wear the colors of Orange and Black proudly...we are proud of you whatever your record is...never give up and never give in...continue to work hard, believe in each other and dream big...WE BELIEVE IN YOU!!!

    GO TIGERS!!!!
