Canines compete during community dog show

Mountain Home went to the dogs quite literally on Saturday as the city parks and recreation department held its annual dog show in Carl Miller Park.

Ruth Wilson poses with her dog, Bo, after the Chinese Crested pooch won the Ugliest Dog title at this year's dog show. "Bo is two years old, and I think it's great that she won this category," Wilson said.

There were 24 dogs vying for blue ribbons in one of the 13 different categories this year.
