Edward Zack

Edward J. Zack, 60 of Boise and formerly of Mountain Home, passed away in a local hospital on Sept. 24, 2015. Ed was born in France on Oct. 6, 1954. His adoptive parents were Irene and George Zack, and he attended Mountain Home High School.

Ed worked for a Vending Co. and enjoyed working on motorcycles and riding his Harley. He spent the majority of his time at Clair's Harley Shop in Mountain Home.

Ed's illness left him a quadriplegic for many years, but he was still a fighter. His favorite Aide and friend was Kathryn Bufton-Blake.

Ed is survived by his sister, Joanne Reyes and her husband, Jeffrey; his niece, Jessica L. Wieland-Durkin, her husband, Christopher, and their four children, Deja, Brodi, Camryn and Jackson. He was predeceased by his father, George Zack, and his mother, Irene Zack.

Viewing will be at Boise Funeral Home, Aclesa Chapel, 8209 Fairview Ave. in Boise (322-3999) from 5 to 7 p.m. Sept. 30. Memorial services will be held at Boise Funeral Home Aclesa Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 1.

Memorial donations may be made in Edwards name to the MS Society.
