Project seeks to upgrade Anderson Ranch system

The Anderson Ranch Dam and powerplant are both located on the south fork of the Boise River.

The Bureau of Reclamation awarded a $1.6 million construction contract last month to replace the electrical infrastructure at the Anderson Ranch Field Station.

Burke Electric LLC from Bellevue, Wash., will start on-site work at the station in October 2016 with a scheduled completion date of March 2017.

Anderson Ranch Dam and the powerplant are located on the south fork of the Boise River about 28 miles northeast of Mountain Home, Idaho.
