Curtis was born May 16, 1935, in Fort Hall, Idaho, the son of Howard and Minnie Davis. He was a true outdoorsman. He loved fishing from the pontoon, as well as hunting and camping with family and friends. If you saw him around town, he always had his dog Toddie with him.

It was when he returned from his last deployment to Vietnam that he met and married the love of his life, Helen Kilgore, on Aug. 23, 1970.

Curtis was always smiling, telling jokes or making sarcastic comments to make you laugh. He loved his family, attended all the events he could for his grandchildren. He taught them how to fish and how to play cards.

Curtis is survived by his daughter, Jeaneen, and her husband, Albert Crawshaw of Hammett; his sister, Norma, and her husband, Frank Echevarria of Blackfoot; his brothers, Larry Davis of Blackfoot and Shirl and his wife, Bonnie of Utah; three grandchildren, one great-grandchild on the way and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, his parents, two brothers, four sisters and a stepson.

Memorials in Curtis' memory can be sent to the VFW Post #364, P.O. Box 483, Glenns Ferry, ID 83623.
