Medical foundation schedules golf tournament

St. Luke's Elmore Foundation will host the 2015 Annual Golf Classic and Silent Auction on Sept. 26 at the Desert Canyon Golf Course.

Proceeds from the event will support fundraising efforts to expand the emergency department at the local medical center.

A much-needed series of projects will get underway in late 2015, said hospital spokesperson Doreen Krabbenhoft. The work will begin with the installation of the specialty clinic.
