Fire restrictions lifted across area

With the fire danger continuing to decrease across southern Idaho, city and county officials lifted burn bans in Mountain Home and across Elmore County on Friday.

Rain showers, cooler weather and lower wildfire dangers also prompted state and federal wildfire officials to lift Stage 1 fire restrictions across west central Idaho mountains that day.
