Meeting launches city's revitalization effort

Limited parking, fewer shoppers and a dwindling selection of places to shop are hampering efforts to fill vacant business properties in the Mountain Home area, according to local realtors and property owners.

These and other obstacles and hurdles were addressed during a meeting hosted by the city's economic development office Thursday evening.

  • As long as we don't have another taxing district formed or use any tax dollars I wish them success. On second thought maybe they could use the funding for the economic development office/person and finally get something beneficial to the area.
