Football boosters 'Tiger Head' effort to benefit players

The "Tiger Head" is showing up often unexpectedly in the front yard of local homes. As part of the Mountain Home Tigers football team fundraiser, it costs money to have the decorative toilet placed in a specific location as well as money to have it removed.

A fundraising effort headed by the parents of varsity football players at Mountain Home High School is raising a fair share of comments across the community as the symbols of the team continue to pop up across town.

Recently, the Mountain Home High School Tiger Football Boosters began two initiatives that seek to raise money to support these players.

The first is known as the Tiger Head -- a toilet painted orange with black tiger stripes in honor of the team's colors that's mounted to a small black base. If the Tiger Head makes an appearance on someone's lawn, a sign on the back provides details on how people can have it removed or relocated to a friend's lawn for a small fee.
