Liberal mindset makes no sense

Dear editor,

Trying to understand leftwing logic is like trying to drink coffee with a fork.

For instance, Trayvon, Brown, Gray, Bible Study shooting, etc., all "racial hate crimes" right? So when a gay black man kills 2 straight white reporters, how is this now a "gun control issue?"

Private sale to someone not authorized to own a firearm could buy you some jail time, so why did everyone look the other way when Eric Holder & company run 2,000+ "assault weapons" to the Mexican drug cartels? Is EVERYBODY in this administration "above the law?"

How do politicians who want to confiscate OUR guns, rate armed security for their own families? Apparently, OUR wives and kids aren't as precious as THEIRS, eh?

How do we not trust an honest man with a deer rifle, but trust terrorist countries with nukes?

If "only the police and military should be armed," where ARE they at 2 in the morning when the glass is breaking downstairs, or when you're broke down out on some lonely road?

Take history in high school? Do you suppose 6 million ARMED Jews would have gone to the gas chambers? I think not.

To offer a compromise of "fairness and level playing fields," maybe gun owners SHOULD be willing to register them. Just as soon as the hoods do!

And just to properly appease Univision, maybe the U.S. should have the SAME rules of immigration that Mexico ITSELF has, item for item. How could THAT not be fair?

I've heard politicians, (even a few "Republicans") try to protect the southern trespassers by "reasoning" that many of them haven't broken any laws since they've been here. Excuse me? They broke the law when they sneaked over!

What part of ILLEGAL don't you understand? They aren't "undocumented workers" any more than drug dealers would be "unlicensed pharmacists."

The same with guns. Our founders had to throw out an oppressive government to BEGIN this country. They already KNEW what so many in America still haven't grasped to this day. Gun control isn't about guns, it's about CONTROL. So just as with that term "ILLEGAL." I would ask the left, "What part of SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED don't you people comprehend?"

History has defined that the American Revolution came about via excessive & unjust taxes, and government intrusion into people's lives. Fast-forward that, about 240 years later.
