Local school enrollment mostly unchanged

Following increased enrollment in local area schools over the past three years, the total number of students attending schools in the Mountain Home area remained mostly unchanged when the academic year began last month.

"We're pretty flat enrollment wise, which is a good thing," said Mountain Home School District Superintendent James Gilbert. "I'll take that over declining enrollment any day."
