Julia Loretta Brown, age 84 of Mountain Home, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015, at a Mountain Home care center. Per her request, no services will be held. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.

Jewel did many thing during life, most notably starting the Sunset Bar with husband, Bill. After selling the Sunset and retiring, she and Bill enjoyed many happy days hunting, fishing and taking care of their home and property.

She enjoyed many friends and has always been happy to help if anyone ever needed anything. She loved being with her family and most especially all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

We will all miss her terribly, but know in our hearts that she is in Heaven with all her family that passed on and that we will see her again when our time comes.

Jewel is survived by her daughters, Loretta Crisman of Mountain Home, Vicki Cuddihee of New Mexico, sister Jean Copenhaver of Texas and sister in-law Jean Allen of King Hill, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, and three brothers.
