A survey airing concerns over public education in the local area highlighted a list of issues addressed by the Mountain Home school board during their first meeting of the new academic year Aug. 18.

Military matters at the local Air Force base, accusations of a possible conflict of interest regarding plans to rebuild the roof at Hacker Middle School and the formation of district subcommittees dominated the discussion during the monthly public hearing.
