Dan Qualls

Dan Lawrence Qualls, age 67 of Mountain Home, passed away at a Boise hospital on Friday, Aug. 14, 2015. A graveside memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 21, 2015, at Mountain View Cemetery in Mountain Home. Cremation is under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Dan was born in Council, ,Idaho and was raised in Midvale, Idaho. He resided in Mountain Home for many years and later moved to Quartzsite, Ariz. Dan finished his life in Mountain Home.

He was an ornery, compassionate, opinionated, witty, hilarious, loving man who loved to watch his westerns and tell his stories. He will be missed by all.

Dan is survived by his two daughters, Mary and spouse Carl Blum, and Gena and spouse Fenton Doyle of Mountain Home; his son, Arron and spouse Sandy Qualls of Emmett; his brother, Lyle Qualls; and sisters Daisy and spouse Jerry Balluff, and Eva White of Quartzsite, Ariz.; his nine and a half grandchildren, Svea, James, Samantha, Logan, Jessica, Matthew, Arron, Coltin, Noah and Jesse; and one great-grandchild, Nevaeh.

Dan was preceded in death by his parents, one of his brothers and one of his sons.
