State unemployment rate rises as labor force grows

An increase of 1,200 people looking for work nudged July's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate up to 4.1 percent, according to information released last week by the Idaho Department of Labor.

State labor market indicators showed a slight increase to Idaho's workforce up to just under 800,000 with only eight people added to Elmore County's workforce during the month.
