City, ITD discuss changes to cooperative agreement

Last week's meeting between the city and Idaho Transportation Department sought to find an agreement involving snow removal services along several miles of state highway that run through the Mountain Home area.

City officials and Idaho Department of Transportation representatives met Friday to discuss the first steps of a revised agreement to maintain state roadways in the Mountain Home area.

The proposal introduced by the state transportation department seeks to triple the amount of state highways the city would maintain.
