Pooch pool party

With toy in hand, a canine cuts through the water at the city's outdoor pool at Richard Aguirre Park during a dog pool party on Sunday. With the pool closing to the public for the season, more than 50 dogs and their owners took advantage of the warm weather to take part in the yearly event. There were plenty of tennis balls and a few chewed-up frisbees available for a dog-gone, splashing good time. In addition to some time in the pool, many dog owners were very happy to see so many well-behaved four-legged companions playing in the big grassy area next to the pool. "It's wonderful the city allows us to bring our dogs out here at the end of the season...
