Area to host first country music festival

More than 20 country music superstars will travel to Elmore County during the inaugural Mountain Home Country Music Festival. The entertainment begins July 31.

Some of country music's biggest stars will come to Elmore County later this month to take part in a festival that's expected to draw 25,000 people from across southern Idaho and neighboring states.

The Mountain Home Country Music Festival marks its debut in Idaho from July 31 to Aug. 2 in the foothills north of Mountain Home.
