BLM crews, firefighters fight blaze near interstate

Crews with the Bureau of Land Management mop up hot spots as they contained a 10-acre wildfire that temporarily halted traffic along the interstate east of Mountain Home on Friday. The fire was human caused, BLM officials said.

Firefighters from Mountain Home and the Bureau of Land Management contained a range fire east of Mountain Home around 2 p.m. Friday.

The fire was first reported around 12:10 p.m. and scorched approximately 10 acres of land along the eastbound side of the interstate between mileposts 98 and 99.
