Krissa Kay Arnold-Brown, 31, passed away May 24, 2015, in Mountain Home. Krissa was born June 21, 1983, in Julesburg, Colo. Krissa is the daughter of Kim and Scott Woods of Mountain Home and Ron and Cindy Arnold of Big Springs, Neb.

She had a heart of gold and loved to help care for people so she obtained her CNA degree from Boise State University and worked as a CNA at Marque Care Nursing Home.

Krissa loved being a mother to her two children, Nicholas Garrett Brown, 11, and Lacey Kay Brown, 9. She loved singing, fishing and camping, spending time with friends and family and she loved giraffes. Krissa was full of life and love and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Krissa was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Frank and Francis Zimmerman of Julesburg, Colo.; grandfather, Keith Peterson, of Ovid, Colo.; and grandmother Patricia Ruth Miller Peterson of Sterling, Colo. Krissa is survived by her parents, her sisters, Montica Jimenez of Greeley, Colo.; Theressa Johnson of Sterling, Colo.; Patti Hill of Anchorage, Alaska; Melissa Arnold of Sterling, Colo.; step-sisters Keturah Thompson of Harker Heights, Texas; Crystal Henson of Tumwater, Wash.; Alicia Henson of Lacey, Wash.; Kristina Woods of Helena, Mont.; Jason and Jenna Woods of Boise; grandparents Caroline and Keith Lindauer of Long Beach, Calif.; Ron Arnold Sr. of Big Springs, Neb.; and Nicole and Dale Husser of Loveland, Colo.; as well as numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.

She was laid to rest on Monday, June 1, 2015, at Julesburg Cemetery and was placed with Grandpa Peterson.

Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
