High school principal says thanks

Wednesday, June 3, 2015

Dear editor,

Commencement for the Class of 2015 was held Friday, May 22nd, at Tiger Field. Mountain Home High School would like to thank the great community of Mountain Home for all their support this year.

Not only did the local community award these students with over $107,000 in local scholarships, they also supported all of our various athletic and activity programs throughout the year. In addition, I would like to thank Vicki Wise for donating all the plants to decorate the stage and Julie Vogl for donating the pillars that were placed at the entrance and on the stage.

Also, I would like to thank the Mountain Home Police Department for being present and helping to restore some class to the graduation ceremony.

I would also like to thank the Mountain Home School District Maintenance Department and the high school custodians for setting everything up, and making sure the facility was in great shape. Tilli Abbott and Mark Cotton were a big help in making sure everything was ready for the ceremony.

Finally, I would like to thank the Class of 2015. I've been part of the last 15 graduation ceremonies, and this was hands down the most well behaved group of graduating seniors I have seen. Thank you for being a class act. I wish all of you nothing but the best in your future endeavors. Congratulations. Thank you again to everyone.
