Extension office offers lawn and garden watering tips

Many times, people overwater their yards, which actually does more harm than good.

With people in the local area getting to work in their yards and gardens, officials with the Elmore County Extension Office offered some tips to keep these areas properly watered.

"Landscapes are important to the value and pleasure that we get from being a homeowner," said Mir Seyedbagheri, University of Idaho extension educator. "However, wise watering makes good economic sense and is healthier for your lawn, trees and gardens."
