Track and field team places at Bishop Kelly meet

The Mountain Home Tigers track teams finished third in both the boys and girls competition during Thursday's triangular track and field meet at Bishop Kelly High School.

Bishop Kelly ran away with the girls competition, scoring 14 points. Caldwell was a distant second with 41, with Mountain Home finishing third with 31 points.

Alexandera Tatum had Mountain Home's only first-place finish, winning the triple jump. She also finished second in the long jump and third in the 100 meter dash.

Mountain Home's 4 X 100 and 4 X 200 meter relays both finished second.

Third-place efforts went to Keyondra White in the 100 meter dash, Alexis Georgianna in the 3,200 meters, Makena Carson in the 100 meter high hurdles and Rachel Johnson in the 300 meter hurdles.

Keyondra White had fourth-place efforts in both the long jump and triple jump. Elisabeth Stephens had a fourth-place finish in the 3,200 meters, and Julianne Mori took fourth in the high jump.

Bishop Kelly also won the boys competition, scoring 88 points. Caldwell was second with 64 points while Mountain Home came in with 34 points.

Mountain Home finished first in both the 4 X 100 meter relay and 4 X 200 meter relay.

Jonathan Deese finished second in the 100- and 200-meter dashes. Eric Reetz finished second in the 300 meter hurdles, and Dallinf Dearing had a second-place effort in the discus and fourth in the shot put.

Connor Weygint was third in the 200 meters, Will Weygint was third in the pole vault while Nolan Pasqualetti had a third in the 800 meters and a fourth in the high jump.

Mitch Aguire also had a fourth-place finish in the 100 meter dash.

The Tiger thinclads are off for spring break this week, returning to action April 2 at Middleton for a tri-meet versus the Vikings and Caldwell.
