Pamela White

Pamela Jean White, 64 of Mountain Home, died peacefully in her home on March 6, 2015. No services will be held per her request. Cremation is under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

Pamela was born in Portsmouth, Va., on May 12, 1950, to Leo and Barbara Black (Moore). In 1962 at the age of 12, Pam was a patient in the pioneering stages of Pediatric open heart surgery. Her childhood was full of adventure as she moved around the world with her family. Pam graduated from Kodiak High School in 1968.

Pam raised four children in Seattle and then moved to Mountain Home in 2004. She worked for B-Transfer for the last 10 years where she felt totally loved and appreciated by Alan, Vicky and the crew.

Pam is survived by her four children: Tracy Thrasher of Snohomish, Wash.; Robert White and Carey Cross both of Federal Way, Wash.; and Jessica Hughes of Mountain Home, Idaho; Pam's younger brother, Steven and wife Debbie Black of Syracuse, Utah; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pam is preceded in death by both her parents.

Pam was one of a kind. She was loved by many, and will be dearly missed by all.
