Fish & Game seeks help to restore fire-damaged rangeland

Volunteers will help plant 5,000 sagebrush and bitterbrush in an area that's home to sage grouse and wintering big game animals.

The Idaho Department of Fish and Game is looking for volunteers to help plant bitterbrush and sagebrush vegetation in the Little Sage Hen Flat area north of Mountain Home.

The March 28 effort will help Fish and Game rehabilitate sage grouse lek sites that sustained heavy damage due to range fires that swept through the area in recent years.
