A memorial service for Gayle Kerry, 77 of Killdeer, will be 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Stevenson Funeral Home in Killdeer. Gayle passed away March 8, 2015, at CHI St. Joseph's Health in Dickinson, N.D.

Marjorie Gayle was born Nov. 23, 1937, the daughter of Paul and Dorothy (Simmons) Kincade. She grew up and attended school in the Watseka, Illinois area.

Gayle married the love of her life and soulmate, Patrick Kerry, on June 29, 1961. They were blessed with three children, Dorothy, Mabel and Joseph.

Patrick's career in the Air Force took Gayle and their three children to various bases across the country, which include Idaho, Nevada, England, Florida and California. Gayle worked and retired from civil service as supervisor, head cashier and cashier for the commissary at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho after 30 years of service.

She later moved to Killdeer to live with her daughter, Mabel. Gayle was very fond of her two dogs, and she enjoyed collecting angels and seeing buffalo in the Theodore Roosevelt National Park near Medora.

Gayle, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. We love you so very much and will miss you greatly until we meet again in Heaven, and we rejoice in knowing that your last breathe here on earth was your first breathe in Heaven.

Gayle is survived by her daughters, Dorothy and husband Dave Rieker of Eagle, Idaho; Mabel and husband Dave Hixson of Killdeer; grandchildren, Davey and wife Kelly Rieker of Boise, Idaho; Jim and wife Shasta Rieker of Bonaire, Ga.; Lisa and husband Russ Montano of Eagle, Idaho; Amanda Curtis of Killdeer, N.D.; PJ and wife Chelsea Williams of Kuna, Idaho; Douglas and wife LeeAnn Williams of Orofino, Idaho;, Patrick Williams of Killdeer; Davey and wife Patty Hixson of Killdeer; Jon and wife Wendy Okuda of Fairfield; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Jean Smillie of Livingston, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Patrick; and son, Joseph Kerry.
