Tigers third overall at state

Friday, March 6, 2015

The Mountain Home Tigers bounced back from a semi-final loss to finish third overall during this year's 4A State Tournament at Borah High School in Boise.

The Tigers' quest to win their first state title was detoured in the semi-finals when they lost to Rigby, 33-39.

Their win against the Lakeland Hawks on Thursday was the first time since 1980 that Mountain Home had won a boys' state basketball tournament. Details on this year's state tournament will appear in the March 11 edition of the Mountain Home News.
