Edith Verna Martin, age 88 of Glenns Ferry, passed away on Jan. 14, 2015, at her daughter's home in Hazelton, Idaho. Per her request, no services will be held.

Cremation is under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, located at 500 North 18th East St. in Mountain Home.

Edith was born June 5, 1926, in Glenns Ferry, Idaho. She was raised and attended schools in Glenns Ferry and King Hill.

She married Ralph Elmer Pruett on Nov. 21, 1943, and to this union four children were born. Ralph passed away on Dec. 29, 1975.

Edith later met and married Windell C. Martin. They lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, for a time and then retired to Glenns Ferry. Windell died Jan. 27, 2007.

Edith is survived by her daughter, Judy Zeller and her husband Dale of Hazelton; her sisters Ethel Cutting of King Hill and Alice Allred of Pine; her sister in-law Ann Harder of Glenns Ferry; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Rex Pruett and Rodney Pruett; one daughter, Jane Pruett; two husbands and her brothers, James Harder and Elmer Harder.
