Commissioners continue discussion on music concert permit

Range fire concerns and the need for emergency resources highlighted a list of issues the county commissioners debated this week as they continued to discuss an appeal of the conditional use permit for a large-scale music festival planned for next summer.

Monday's hearing was the latest in a series of meetings regarding the Mountain Home Country Music Festival, which could draw as many as 25,000 people to the county during the four-day event in an area northeast of the Highway 20 turnoff to Pine and Featherville.
