Bernd Ronald "Ron" Ramspeck, 54, of Kuna, was called home to our Lord and Savior on Dec. 10, 2014.

Bernd was born on Aug. 21, 1960, the third oldest of six children.

He was born and raised in Nurnberg, Germany, but grew up in California where he met the love of his life, Ann. They were married for 35 years and had one daughter, Amy LaRae, who was the apple of his eye.

Bernd was a jack of all trades. There wasn't much he was not able to do, fix or educate about.

He was the kindest soul who believed in family, standing tall and always striving to be better than yesterday. Nothing filled his heart more than spending time with his granddaughter, Makinsy, and great-nephew, Jace.

Bernd loved building hot rods, Harleys, playing music, his guns and spending time with friends laughing. "That's what life's about" he would always say.

He is the sweetest soul and the bravest man his daughter Amy knew. He taught her what true love honestly looked like by the way he loved his wife, Ann.

He is a true treasure and will missed by many.

Bernd is survived by his daughter, Amy Ramspeck, of Meridian, Russ Kienzle of Meridian, his aunt, Brigitte Vega, brother-in-law Joe Allen Rone and his wife, Diane Rone, of Fontana, Calif., sister-in-law Debra Sue Rowan and her husband, Joe Rowan, brothers Norbert Ramspeck, Robert Richards and Johnny Richards, granddaughter Makinsy Ann Kienzle, nephews Joey Rone, Jeffrey Rone and his wife, Valerie, Michael Ramspeck and his wife, Samantha, nieces Jennifer Hitchings, Elizabeth Moruzzi and Sherry Grandeza, and great-nephew Jace Hitchings.

He was preceded in death by his father, Manfred Ramspeck, his mother, Kunigunda Glas, his brother, Harold Ramspeck, and his sweet wife, Ann Ramspeck.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, at Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.
