Art at the Inn

Marcus Mashburn and his wife, Debie, are joined by local art students as they hoist a mural into place during this year's Art at the Inn event, held Saturday at the Hampton Inn.

Hosted by the Mountain Home Arts Council, the show featured the work of various artists from the local area.

The mural created by Mashburn depicts the old train depot in Mountain Home as it appeared in 1945 located in what is now Railroad Park. When finished, the mural will remain on display at the local park next to an existing caboose display.

Local artist Jonna Barnett puts the final touches on her art display during Saturday's show. Barnett classified her art form as a mixture of acrylic and mixed mediums with a focus on whimsical designs.
