Deputy Long to retire after 25-year career

Allen Long will officially retire as an Elmore County deputy sheriff Sept. 5, concluding 25 years in law enforcement.

His retirement party will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. that day in the marine offices of the emergency services building across from the jail and sheriff's office.
