Ray Blankenship

Ray H. Blankenship, 65, of Mountain Home, passed away on Aug. 15, 2014, peacefully in his home, with his family lovingly surrounding him.

Per his request, no services will be held. Cremation is under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel, in Mountain Home.

Ray was born Nov. 10, 1948, in Lewiston, Idaho, to Jess and Jacqueline (Schoolcraft) Blankenship.

Ray married Linda Prest and together they had six children. He was a wonderful husband, loving father and brother and a fabulous grandfather.

Ray was a very humorous person and always had a comical view on life. He enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting.

Ray is survived by his wife, Linda, children Tammy Miller, Lorinda Britton, Tracy Sanderson, Ray Blankenship Jr., Shay Blankenship and Al Miller, 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Ray was preceded in death by both his parents, two brothers and one son.
