Basque picnic set for Saturday

Performances by the Oinkari dancers are one of the highlights of the yearly Basque celebration.

People from Mountain Home and surrounding communities will relive the traditions, culture and language of the Basque people during an annual festival scheduled for Aug. 2.

Organizers will hold the community's 54th Annual Basque Picnic at Basque Park next to the Bengeochea Hotel.
