WECRD to decide on future of center project

The Western Elmore County Recreation District will meet tonight to decide what are the next steps that must be taken to achieve its goal of building a community center.

The meeting will take place at the WECRD offices at 245 E. 6th South St., beginning at 6 p.m.

    Sounds like another excuse err reason for a study, just like the last 2 or 3 they have paid for. Wish I could go but got civic commitments that will prevent me.

  • Old Guy, I did go. You did not miss a thing. They are in the same spot they have always been in. The really big question in all of this now is where is all of the money. They are NO closer to building this nightmare/sham than they were when they started taxing/stealing from the public. I am certain that your other commitments were a far better use of your time. This entire project and all involved are a joke. But hey! There is an 8 person pool in the drawing named the "Y." Always entertaining. And yes, there are more expensive drawings of yet another building. You may want to check it out. Hope you are well Old Guy.
