Laubach pleads guilty to first-degree murder

Richard R. Laubach, a Mountain Home man accused of killing his stepson in March 2013, pled guilty to the charge during a hearing on Monday.

Laubach pled guilty to a single count of first-degree murder as part of an agreement between the county prosecutor and his defense team.

He stood accused of assaulting Joseph "Joey" Graham III at the family's residence the afternoon of March 12, 2013. The child died the following morning at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Boise.
