William Zachry Sr.

William H. Zachry Sr., 83, passed away at home on May 28, 2014, of cancer.

A memorial service will be held Monday, June 2, at 2 p.m. at the LDS Church on N. Haskett Street behind McDonald's on Airbase Road. Everyone is welcome to attend.

He was a 22-year veteran of the United States Air Force, worked four years with the Apollo program and ten years working in the offshore oil industry.

His leisure-time activities were boating, fishing and RVing through various states with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Gloria, brother Paul of Maryland, sister Jean of Maryland, sons Billy, Bobby and Robert and Robert's wife, Allice, of Idaho, 24 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by, his parents, Robert and Ethel Zachry, and siblings John, Robert, Mary, Juanita and Pearl.
