A time to get 'Crazee'

Friday, May 30, 2014

Andrea Morris, 4, dances as the musicians performed on stage during this year's Crazee Daze celebration.

Steady crowds flocked to the city's downtown area for a day of food, fun and entertainment on Saturday as part of the yearly festival.

The more adventuresome children and adults went for a spin, quite literally, on carnival rides set up in Railroad Park. The carnival opened to the public earlier in the week with the attractions staying open beyond Saturday's main Crazee Daze activities.
Youngsters took their turns planting flowers in oversized pots set up in front of the city chamber of commerce office. The activity was organized by Treasure Valley Hospice as a way to help children appreciate the joys of basic gardening.
