Frank A. Morano, 63, passed away at his home on May 14, 2014, from complications of diabetes.

Frank was born on Aug. 10, 1950, in Philadelphia, Pa., to Frank and Marie Morano.

He always loved music and spent time in the drum and bugle corps in Philadelphia, which was a fond memory for him.

He later served in the Marine Corps.

He had the honor of serving as senior pastor of Wellspring Christian Fellowship for a number of years until the church closed in 1999. He was truly the happiest when he was helping people.

Frank wrote many songs, and passed on his love of music to his children and grandchildren. He was skilled on the guitar (teaching himself), piano, had an amazing voice, and was a very talented drummer (passing on that skill to his grandson, Devon).

He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his three children, Toni (Eric) Abrego, Jenn (Phillip) Garcia and Jonathan Morano, all of Mountain Home, his ten grandchildren, his former wife, Michelle Yalch, his sister, Debbie Morano, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, and the extended Vedder family.

There will be a private inurnment with just Frank's family at Mountain View Cemetery. Cremation was under the direction of Rost Funeral Home, McMurtrey Chapel.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, June 7, 2014, at Richard Aguirre Park from 2-4 p.m.
