A lasso thrown by Peyton Reynolds finds its mark as the youngster practices his skills during a kindergarten rodeo held Thursday at North Elementary School.

Students from the school's morning and afternoon kindergarten classes learned the basics of riding and roping during the day's event.

Reynolds is part of Sami Kirk's morning kindergarten class.
