Cleo Rossow

Cleo (Rood) Rossow, 80, went to be with our Heavenly Father May 9, 2014, with her family by her side, after a long illness.

Mom loved to sing, dance, fish, camp, play cards and play bingo, but most of all she loved her children and grandchildren.

Mom was born May 6, 1934, to Cy and Willie Rood, in Drewsey, Ore., she was the fourth of sixth children, she had three brothers and two sisters.

Mom lived in Oregon, Nevada and Montana, but always considered Idaho her home.

Mom was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Harold and Don, and one sister, Marlene Dutton, and one grandson, Patrick Rahn.

Mom is survived by one brother, Leland Rood (Emmett, Idaho), one sister, Patsy Cline (California), her six children, Philip Rahn (Bruneau, Idaho), Catherine Rahn (Las Vegas, Nev.), Laurie Hutchison (Libby, Mont.), Kelly Chubiz (Mountain Home, Idaho), Mary Hutchison (Omaha, Neb.), Fet Harley (Melba, Idaho), 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and a large, extended family that she cared for.

There was a small gathering for a celebration of life on Monday, May 12. No other services are planned at this time
